Introduction: Greetings and welcome to Project Iron, I am very glad to have you here! In this mod you shall find a wide selection of Cold War Uniform types, different camouflage patterns with a vintage flair so we may feast our eyes upon some good old military surplus that would be available to anyone who dares to raid an army surplus store in the event of an apocalypse! I shall be working towards the development of Project Iron even after the initial build by adding in new content, possibly plenty more camo patterns, retexture more gear types and perhaps even bring in new models to the table, as long as I learn how to. Project Iron is a beginner's project, as I have not had previous experience modding, so I do ask for your patience regarding development and I hope that the mod brings you the joy and satisfaction it brings to me! Current Patterns: 10 Combat Uniform Setup: M/68 East German Strichtarn M/79 Bulgarian Splinter M/62 Finnish Pattern M/63 Czechoslovakian Oblaky M/56 Belgian Jigsaw Light Patrol Setup: P84 British DPM M/68 Bulgarian Frogskin Soviet TTsMKK Soviet KLMK Soviet KLMK SO Special thanks to the Facepunch Camo Thread artists that made works like this possible. Notes: - Feel free to repack the mod into your server mods w/ credits. - Types XML is included, which's contents can be copied over to your server types xml, just note that I had no idea how it really works, so feel free to change the values at your own discretion.
No file I/O on hot paths, no timers created per event, no per-player-per-frame hooks.
Every server-visible override preserves its chain.
No server-side script overrides. Counts hook dispatch and timers only, not what the hooks do inside. Methodology.
Which vanilla methods the mod hooks, which of them drop the chain, how often each hook fires, and which risky calls sit inside hot hooks.
How long hook bodies take, network cost, or engine-side load. Measured across live fleets, most server lag comes from the engine and world state, not mod script chains — a light footprint does not clear a mod of lag, and a heavy one does not convict it. Methodology.

What each PBO declares: its addon identity and the addons it requires to be loaded first (requiredAddons). A partial load-order signal from the mod's own metadata.
