Merry Christmas! I recently decided to clean and release most of the mods I have on my P drive. This is one of them, one of many that will be released this week. This mod still needs 3D models for each broken weapon part. It uses a fallback model for parts and I do not like it, but I am no 3d modeler and if I keep waiting for models, the mod will never see the light of day. IF YOU ARE A 3D MODELER OR HAVE WEAPON ASSETS YOU AGREE FOR ME TO STRIP AND GET PARTS FROM, please reach out on DISCORD: https://discord.gg/nCaScg8mv4 Last thoughts about the mod: Honestly, this is an incredible mod for hardcore fans. I have been playing my server with this mod for over a year now, and it completely shifts the mindset and gameplay of DayZ. Now, every gunfight is uncertain, scavenging is important and proper weapon maintenance is a must. The mod is not YET where I want it to be, but you will see the vision when you first fire it up and play around with it. It really changes perspective on survival, and is worth a try. WHAT THIS MOD DOES ================================================================================ R22R_WeaponMechanics - Feature Guide Version 4 ================================================================================ This mod transforms DayZ weapon maintenance into a deep, immersive survival mechanic inspired by S.T.A.L.K.E.R. G.A.M.M.A. Weapons degrade realistically, require proper maintenance, and can be salvaged for parts. Your weapon is your lifeline. Treat it accordingly. This mod shifts gameplay to put weapon maintenance first. Scavenge for parts, not just ammo. Feel the weight of every firefight on your equipment. When your firing pin snaps mid-combat, you will understand why survivors always carried backup weapons. ================================================================================ TABLE OF CONTENTS ================================================================================ 1. It also has a fallback class for unknown inheritence and a anti-parent class corruption tool. Most of the wepon packs will work. I will not add a bridge mod for every weapon pack, but I am open to dig quickly into a mod pack to see what the issue might be. ================================================================================ FOR MODDERS ================================================================================ This mod is MESSY. It runs fine, but does not have proper file structure and naming conventions for DayZ modding. It does not matter, but can be challenging to browse if you want to learn how i did it. As time goes and I fix this mod, proper code structure and cl
