It provides high-quality visual feedback by dynamically coloring item backgrounds based on their rarity tier, while maintaining a sleek, semi-transparent "Aura" look. Key Features Dynamic Rarity Integration: Automatically detects item rarity via DayZ Expansion Hardline and highlights items with their respective rarity colors (Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, etc.). Full UI Coverage: Rarity backgrounds are applied consistently across the entire HUD and Inventory: Hands Slot: See the quality of what you're holding. Equipment Slots: Quickly identify your best gear. Cargo Grid: Spot rare loot in your backpack at a glance. Quickbar (Hotbar): Rarity feedback directly on your HUD hotbar. Soft Dependency: This mod works perfectly with or without Expansion Hardline. If Hardline is present, you get the rarity highlights. If not, the mod remains lightweight and safe. Required Dependencies To enable rarity backgrounds, you need the Expansion Hardline system. Depending on your server setup: Option A: Using the Expansion Bundle If you are already using the DayZ-Expansion-Bundle, no additional installation is required. Everything is ready out of the box. Option B: Standalone Installation If you are not using the full Expansion Bundle, you must install the following: DayZ-Expansion-Hardline DayZ-Expansion-Core Compatibility - Vanilla DayZ: Works as a standalone aesthetic enhancement (vanilla backgrounds). - Safe Performance: Optimized script logic that won't impact server stability. Permissions - Repacking is allowed as long as credit is given.
