Simple, lightweight ear protection for DayZ Created For The Last Light Server Reduce loud game sounds and hear your group more clearly. EarPlugZ is a lightweight ear plug mod updated for the latest version of DayZ. Press one key to reduce loud environmental and effects sounds, then press it again to restore your previous volume level. Features Toggle ear plugs on and off Default key: N Fully rebindable in the DayZ controls menu Reduces effects volume to 20% Restores your previous effects volume when disabled Smooth volume transition Native DayZ enable and disable notifications Automatically restores volume when leaving the server Voice communication EarPlugZ reduces the main effects channel without intentionally changing: VOIP volume Radio volume Speech volume Music volume This helps players hear teammates during gunfire, vehicles, storms, base activity, and other loud situations. Controls Default key: N — Toggle EarPlugZ The key can be changed through the normal DayZ control settings. Other mods that directly control the DayZ effects-volume channel may conflict with EarPlugZ. Server setup Load EarPlugZ on the server and client: -mod=@EarPlugZ Place the included public key inside the server’s keys folder.
