Driving / Moving AI Convoy Hostile AI convoys — Assemble a well armed squad, track them down, prepare an ambush, stop them under fire, and loot the wreck. A dynamic event that turns quiet roads into firefights. New: In-game admin menu. Up to 3 convoys driving at the same time. Maximum convoy size of 6 vehicles. Support for version 1.30 Everything should be running on 1.30, make sure that you updated your Expansion AI mod. How it works A convoy of vehicles spawns and drives a recorded road route — real engine, throttle and steering, not a teleport trick. That means correct multiplayer sync, real bullet impacts, engine sound and working suspension. DayZ-Expansion-AI crews ride inside. They mean business, but they ignore the world. While rolling, the crew is passive — other AI on your server won't touch them and they won't touch anyone. The convoy just drives. Only players can stop it. The convoy keeps going until players deal enough damage to a vehicle. Proximity, zombies and other AI won't trigger it — you have to bring the firepower. Once stopped, the crew steps out and goes into combat brain. Loot, don't joyride. The engine is ruined on the stop, so a beaten convoy is a loot container, not a free vehicle (configurable). Configurable loot. Vehicle parts can't be looted and loot never ends up locked in a part slot. Seats are permanently locked. Wheels are bolted on and work with RAG Immersive Vehicles mod. Crew bodies can't be opened by default (configurable). Optionally despawn them a set time after death. Drives like a convoy. Vehicles will adjust speed to stay together. On-screen Expansion pop-ups announce where a convoy set off, which way it's heading, and when it's been stopped. Multi-language support. Custom notification options. Mod comes with 7 ready to go routes for Chernarus map. Fires up 5 minutes after restart with one of the routes. Despawns when the route is completed. Then starts up a new convoy every hour. Choose a combination of any 6 vehicle classes you have on the server. You want six school busses filled with AI soldiers, go ahead. Default convoy is 3 vehicles: modded M1025 & V3S (AIConvoy_Car & AIConvoy_Truck), tuned for climbing hills. Custom vehicles might need a test run and gear settings in the vehicle preset. Six school busses full of AI might affect your server performance. In-game admin menu Run your convoys from inside the game. No file editing, no restart. Route recorder: tick a box and your next drive is saved as a new route. Routes: switch routes on or off, Launch, Go to or Stop a convoy. Time between convoys: 10 minutes to 3 hours. Setup: add your Steam64 ID to AdminSteamIDs in AIConvoySettings.json and restart, then bind a key under Options > Controls > AI Convoy. Non-admins get nothing. Options to configure Everything lives in simple JSON files in your server profile. A complete setup with 7 ready-made Chernarus routes installs itself on first start. General: first-convoy delay, interval, convoys at once, notifications, cleanup, column spacing. Vehicle presets: any vehicle class, attachments, cargo loot, how much damage stops it, engine ruined or not. Crew presets: number of AI, unit types, faction, loadout, lootable bodies and body despawn. Routes: driving speed, ambush points and the column make-up per slot. Mix vehicle types in one convoy, or let a route pick from a shortlist. Loot presets: reusable cargo sets with partial quantities, damaged items, nested gear or "pick two of these". LBmaster presets work too. Notifications: your own w
