BigBiertje Radio Signal Hunter Created by BigBiertje Turn the DayZ world into a radio-signal treasure hunt. BigBiertje Radio Signal Hunter adds a powered handheld scanner that detects configurable radio transmitters hidden around the map. Follow the signal strength, listen to the accelerating beacon pulse, and use the estimated compass bearing to locate the source. How it works Find or spawn a BigBiertje Signal Scanner. Insert a 9V battery. Place the scanner in your hands and switch it on. The scanner automatically sweeps all configured frequencies. The strongest signal in range appears on the scanner HUD. Follow the displayed bearing and increasing signal percentage. The custom beep becomes faster as you approach the transmitter. Weak signals contain configurable bearing interference, so distant readings will move slightly. The direction becomes more accurate as the player gets closer. Features Server-authoritative signal calculations Automatic frequency scanning Signal strength from 0 to 100 percent Compass bearing and cardinal direction Custom proximity beep Configurable frequencies, ranges, power, names and positions Separate configuration for every map Automatic starter transmitters for new and community maps No transmitter coordinates are sent to clients Powered by a standard 9V battery Compatible with admin tools and trader mods Multi-map support The mod automatically detects the active terrain and creates a separate configuration file for it. It works with ChernarusPlus, Deer Isle, Livonia, Sakhal, Namalsk, Banov, Esseker, TakistanPlus, Rostow, Valning, Melkart, Iztek, Stuart Island, Lux, Pripyat, Bitterroot, Alteria, PNW and other community maps. Chernarus includes example landmark transmitters. Other terrains receive five automatically scaled starter locations based on the real map size and surface height. Server owners should review these generated locations before opening the server, especially on maps containing large water areas or inaccessible terrain. Server installation Install the mod on the server and all clients. Add -mod=@BigBiertje_RadioSignalHunter to the server and client launch parameters. Start the server once. Stop the server and open the generated map configuration. Add the supplied Central Economy type entry to your mission. Restart the server and test every transmitter location. Do not load this as a server-only mod. Clients require the item definition, scripts, HUD and custom sound. Configuration location $profile:RadioSignalHunter/config_<worldname>.json Examples: config_chernarusplus.json config_deerisle.json config_enoch.json Each signal source supports: Id - unique internal identifier Label - name displayed on the scanner Position - DayZ X/Y/Z world coordinates FrequencyMHz - displayed radio frequency MaxRangeMeters - maximum detection distance Power - signal multiplier, normally 0.1 to 2.0 Enabled - enables or disables the source Configuration is loaded when the mission starts. Stop the server before editing the JSON and restart it afterward. Central Economy types.xml Merge this entry into your mission's types.xml: <type name="RSF_SignalScanner"> <nominal>8</nominal> <lifetime>7200</lifetime> <restock>1800</restock> <min>3</min> <quantmin>-1</quantmin> <quantmax>-1</quantmax> <cost>100</cost> <flags count_in_cargo="0" count_in_hoarder="0" count_in_map="1" count_in_player="0" crafted="0" deloot="0"/> <category name="tools"/> <usage name="Military"/> <usage name="Police"/> </type> [/co

modperf has not read this mod's scripts, so there is no report and it is left out of any stack it appears in. 2 live servers in the crawl publish it.

The worker downloads the mod from the Workshop and reads its Enforce Script — nothing is executed. Usually a few minutes. This page then shows the report.
