Zellno PVE Vehicle Protection Small and focused vehicle protection for full-PVE DayZ servers. Features Prevents players from damaging supported cars and motorcycles with firearms. Prevents players from damaging supported cars and motorcycles with melee attacks and fists. Protects vehicle attachments such as doors, windows, wheels, radiator, battery and spark plug. Prevents supported cars and motorcycles from causing vanilla TransportHit damage to players. Preserves collision, mechanical, environmental and maintenance damage. Preserves crash damage to vehicle occupants and motorcycle riders. Preserves vehicle collision damage against infected and animals. Compatibility DayZ 1.30 Vanilla wheeled vehicles CarPack vehicles based on CarScript Jana 50 and Bitrak 682 motorcycles based on MotorbikeScript PVEZReloaded No Community Framework dependency Current status Version 0.2.0-alpha. Functional testing has passed with vanilla vehicles, CarPack vehicles and the DayZ 1.30 Jana 50 and Bitrak 682 motorcycles. Player firearm and melee protection was tested successfully on both motorcycle models using fists, a sledgehammer and a SNAFU M60. The existing protection for cars remains preserved. Multiplayer car run-over protection has also passed: another survivor was struck by a player-driven car and received no TransportHit damage. Motorcycle-originated TransportHit protection is implemented through the same supported-vehicle filter. A direct motorcycle run-over test against another survivor was not performed because a second local client was unavailable. Notes Glass impact sounds and visual effects may still play even when vehicle damage is rejected. Punching vehicle glass may still injure the attacker. These are preserved vanilla consequences. The mod does not reject collision damage, environmental damage, mechanical damage or crash damage to vehicle occupants and motorcycle riders. During local testing, a Bitrak 682 collision killed the rider while the motorcycle remained visually undamaged. This was recorded as observed DayZ 1.30 behavior; the mod did not reject the collision event. Direct player-versus-player damage remains the responsibility of DayZ and the active PVE system. Direct firearm damage against a vehicle occupant or motorcycle rider is outside the scope of Zellno PVE Vehicle Protection. modperf has not read this mod's scripts, so there is no report and it is left out of any stack it appears in. 1 live server in the crawl publishes it.
The worker downloads the mod from the Workshop and reads its Enforce Script — nothing is executed. Usually a few minutes. This page then shows the report.
