Grabs Core

GRABS CORE The shared framework behind Grabs Mods. Grabs_Core is the central dependency used across the Grabs ecosystem. It provides the shared systems required by compatible Grabs mods for license validation, administrator management, commands, notifications and common functionality. Grabs_Core does not provide standalone gameplay content. If a Grabs mod lists Grabs_Core as a dependency, the Core must be loaded for that mod to operate correctly. Multiple mods. One shared ecosystem. ADMIN CHAT Grabs_Core includes a centralized Admin Chat for compatible Grabs mods. Open it in-game with: ALT + 1 From this panel, administrators can discover installed Grabs mods, view their available commands and execute administrative actions. To list compatible mods registered in the Core: mods Typical flow: Press ALT + 1 Type mods Choose the desired mod tag View its available commands Execute the required action This provides one central administration interface even when multiple Grabs mods are installed. COMMAND SYSTEM Each compatible Grabs mod can register its own command tag and administrative actions through Grabs_Core. Available commands depend on the installed mod and may include: Configuration reloads Event controls Runtime actions Testing / debug tools Administrative utilities Use: help where supported to view command information. You can always start with: mods to discover registered mods and navigate to their commands. ADMIN PERMISSIONS Administrator Steam IDs are managed through one shared file: $profile:Grabs/admins.json Compatible Grabs mods can use this administrator list instead of requiring separate permission files for every product. Add the Steam IDs of the administrators that should have access to Grabs admin systems. LICENSE VALIDATION Grabs_Core provides the shared license validation system used by Grabs products. Commercial Grabs mods may require a valid license before enabling their protected functionality. This keeps license management centralized instead of duplicating validation systems inside every individual mod. License requirements depend on the specific Grabs product being used. SHARED NOTIFICATIONS Compatible mods can use the shared UI notification system provided by Grabs_Core. Notifications may be used for: Gameplay information Administrative feedback Events System messages Errors and validation feedback This keeps interface feedback consistent across Grabs products. SHARED INFRASTRUCTURE Grabs_Core centralizes systems that would otherwise need to exist separately inside every Grabs mod. Individual products remain responsible for their own gameplay while the Core provides the common foundation they use. Grabs Mods provide the gameplay. Grabs_Core provides the foundation. INSTALLATION Grabs_Core is a dependency. Load it together with any Grabs mod that lists it as required. Do not remove or disable Grabs_Core while running mods that depend on it.
