OpenZone Radio DayZ ships with eight radio frequencies. This mod turns that into as many as you configure, up to thousands, so a server can have real channels instead of eight crowded ones. Any server, any map, configured entirely from JSON. Part of the OpenZone series, built for the STALKER: Zone Protocol server. What you get A measured band table: on start-up the mod finds out how many frequencies the server really has and works from that, rather than assuming. Radio profiles: bands, steps and limits in JSON, who may tune where and in what increments; seven profiles ship as defaults. Six handhelds with models of their own (by Crystal): one invented brand, OZ-COM, a model name on each case, and the frequency window shows the face of the radio in hands. Push-to-talk with a squelch: a short burst of static on key down and key up, played on the radio itself, so the people near you hear it too. One radio speaks, not all of them: the one in your hands, else the one on a slot you held last, else one in cargo (the server may forbid cargo); a switched-off set is never a candidate. A frequency keypad: type the frequency instead of pressing "next channel" until you arrive. One key for "talk" and "talk on the air": give the game's voice key a second binding on the radio's push-to-talk key (T by default), and one press does both. Server settings in JSON: squelch range, push-to-talk from cargo, mirroring the voice key, debug logging, a profiler for lag hunts; an example types.xml for the radio classes. Requires Community Framework and OpenZone Core. Players need nothing beyond these. For server owners Widening the band beyond the vanilla eight needs a server-side mod as well; the setup is described on the GitHub page below. Without it the mod still installs and runs: it detects the unpatched server, says so in its log, and leaves the vanilla eight channels alone. Companions OpenZone Radio PDA (the radio as a board in an OpenZone PDA bay), OpenZone Radio VPP (an admin tab for radio profiles). Tutorial One picture: English · Ukrainian Source code github.com/covalschi/openzone-radio Licence, repacking, selling You may repack this mod into your server's own pack, keeping the attribution and the same licence. You may not sell it, sublicense it or include it in any paid bundle. Running it on a server that accepts donations, sells cosmetics or priority queue slots is fine. CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 with the additional permission in NOTICE.

modperf has not read this mod's scripts, so there is no report and it is left out of any stack it appears in. 3 live servers in the crawl publish it.

The worker downloads the mod from the Workshop and reads its Enforce Script — nothing is executed. Usually a few minutes. This page then shows the report.
