ProficiencySystem Get better at what you actually do. Repeating the same task with the same tool makes you faster at it — gradually, believably, and only up to a point. No instant mastery, no grinding a menu. Just repairing gear, cleaning a weapon, or digging up worms the way you normally would, over and over, while the game quietly keeps score. How it works Every tracked tool/activity pair builds its own independent skill. The more you use a specific tool for a specific job, the faster that job goes — following a fast-early, tapering-off curve with a hard cap (never instant, never broken). Progress is tracked per player and saved server-side, so it survives relogs and server restarts. Using the same item for two different jobs doesn't cross-pollinate — getting fast at repairing gear with a Sewing Kit doesn't make you any faster at stitching up a bleeding wound with the same kit. They're tracked as separate skills. What's tracked Repairs & crafting — Leather Sewing Kit, Sewing Kit, Tire Repair Kit, Pliers, Duct Tape, Electronic Repair Kit, Epoxy Putty, Rag, Wooden Plank Weapon cleaning — Weapon Cleaning Kit Sawing — Hacksaw (sawing off barrels and sawing logs into planks share one skill) Sharpening — Whetstone Painting — Spraycan (any color — one skill, not three) Wound suturing — Sewing Kit (tracked completely separately from repairing gear with it) Digging for worms — knives, machetes, bayonets & sickle share one "Blade" skill; shovels, farming hoe, ice axe, hatchet & pickaxe share a separate "Digging Tool" skill Harvesting tree bark — same family split as digging (knives/blades vs. axes/saws), gated so ordinary tree-chopping never counts Filling & draining containers — any canteen, bottle, pot or cauldron, tracked per container Filling a vehicle's fuel tank & topping up the radiator — same containers as above, tracked as their own skill per container Bandaging — Bandage, Rag, Bandana, or Shemag; patching up a friend and patching up yourself with the same tool build the SAME skill Arming a placed trap — tripwire, landmine, or bear trap; no tool needed, so each trap type builds its own skill Disarming landmines & rigged explosives — knives, bayonets, a screwdriver, a lockpick, or pliers; disarming a mine and disarming a rigged explosive are tracked separately Rigging a detonator or timer — remote detonator or a kitchen timer/alarm clock Locking & unlocking doors — Lockpick; locking and unlocking build separate skills Hand-loading magazines — thumbing loose rounds into any weapon magazine; every magazine shares ONE skill, since it's the same motion no matter the gun Gutting & skinning — knives, machetes, bayonets, a sickle, or a sword; works on animals and human corpses alike Wringing out wet clothes — any garment; every piece of clothing shares ONE skill, since it's the same motion regardless of what you're wringing Washing hands — bare-handed at a pond, in snow, or at a well all share one skill; washing with a canteen, disinfectant spray, rubbing alcohol, or iodine tincture is tracked per item instead More activities get added as they come up — this is a living project, not a one-and-done release. Compatible & lightweight Standalone addon. Doesn't touch anything outside the specific actions listed above, and plays nicely alongside other mods — including this author's other systems (StressSystem, HeadShotOnly). Server-authoritative: all the counting, saving and speed-up logic runs server-side, so it's safe for dedicated servers. Server admin config The main settings — master on/off switch, the max speed bonus, how fast the bonus ramps up towards it, and debug logging — are editable without touching the mod fil

modperf has not read this mod's scripts, so there is no report and it is left out of any stack it appears in. 2 live servers in the crawl publish it.

The worker downloads the mod from the Workshop and reads its Enforce Script — nothing is executed. Usually a few minutes. This page then shows the report.
