Volition Fighter — 1.0.0 Volition Fighter is a single-seat flyable spacecraft for DayZ with physical pitch and banking, gasoline fuel use, an interactive canopy, animated landing gear and a configurable 10 × 60 cargo system. Installation Subscribe and load this mod on both client and server. Add its folder to the server -mod list, copy the supplied keys/*.bikey into the server's central keys folder, and use the identical Workshop release on both sides. Preserve mission persistence when upgrading. Spawn class: DF_Volition_Fighter The mod does not add trader entries or automatic economy spawns. Configure your admin spawn tool, trader or economy separately with the class above. Load this public release or the Volition Fighter TEST branch, never both, because they provide the same classes. Do not delete stored vehicles when switching branches. Controls Use your normal DayZ vehicle bindings: select a forward gear and use throttle to move forward, reverse gear plus throttle to reverse, steering to turn and brake to slow down. Vehicle Turbo raises the craft and Vehicle Slow lowers it (normally Left Shift / Left Ctrl; check your bindings). Mouse wheel up raises the nose and mouse wheel down lowers it. Nose pitch changes the real thrust direction. Steering banks the fighter into turns; banking reduces near terrain and at low speed, then returns smoothly to level when steering is released. Start and stop the engine with the normal vehicle action. Land and stop the engine before leaving the cockpit. Canopy, boarding and landing gear Use the contextual actions to open and close the canopy. Boarding works from either side and from the cockpit deck when the seat is free, the fighter is stopped and the canopy path is clear. To exit, stop the fighter, switch off the engine, open the canopy and use the normal Exit action. The landing gear deploys for ground operation and retracts in flight. The fighter uses three landing-foot contacts and controlled landing stabilization. Rear nozzle effects remain attached during flight and stop immediately when the engine is switched off. Fuel and optional CarLock The fighter consumes gasoline while running and supports the normal refueling action. Its FuelTank damage zone supports storage and garage condition capture without adding a destructible fuel-tank weak point. TraderPlus CarLock is optional. When that system is present, use its normal lock and code actions. A locked fighter blocks protected inventory, canopy, boarding and engine-start operations. This mod does not include or replace TraderPlus. Server JSON configuration The server creates this file on its first startup with the mod: $profile:DigitalFrontier/Flight/VolitionFighter.json $profile means the directory selected by the server's -profiles argument, not the mod folder or a client profile. Each server instance has its own settings. 1. Start the server once to generate the file, then stop it gracefully. 2. Back up the JSON and open it in a plain-text editor. Keep SchemaVersion at 1. 3. Edit numeric values with decimal points and keep valid JSON without comments or trailing commas. 4. Save and restart the affected server instance. Settings load once per process and synchronize to clients. Client-side JSON edits have no effect. modperf has not read this mod's scripts, so there is no report and it is left out of any stack it appears in. 3 live servers in the crawl publish it.
The worker downloads the mod from the Workshop and reads its Enforce Script — nothing is executed. Usually a few minutes. This page then shows the report.
