Ambient Blue Whale One blue whale travels through the sea with whale calls, surface breathing, rolls, dives and fluke displays. Version 1.5 supports Chernarus, Sakhal and Deer Isle. Whale-watching viewpoints Chernarus has six viewpoints, Sakhal has five, and Deer Isle has six. Each viewpoint is marked with a terrain-specific sign. Viewpoint maps for all three terrains are included in the mod's Extras folder. Blue marks Outbound; orange marks Return. Whale icons show travel direction, and green two-post signs with yellow numbers mark the viewpoints. The whale follows a coastal route shared by the server. A stop at a viewpoint does not guarantee an immediate sighting, and there is no live position marker. Find the whale through observation, coastal exploration or a boat trip. The server saves the whale's route progress and resumes it when the checkpoint is valid. Whale behaviour Version 1.5 raises the fluke further out of the water during its display. Its entry splash follows contact points on the front edge and underside of the fluke. During rolls, splash timing follows the previously raised part of the fluke as it returns to the water. The standard 260-second cycle keeps the whale at the surface for four minutes, with three rolls starting after 60, 120 and 180 seconds. A fluke display accompanies the 12-second descent, followed immediately by an 8-second ascent with no additional pause at depth. Server setup and updates Load AmbientBlueWhale on the server and clients. Copy the included weltvolkZ.bikey into the server's keys folder. A normal terrain mission is sufficient; no custom init.c is required. Use a separate profile for each terrain. A fresh profile receives the matching default configuration and signs. To update, stop the server, update the complete mod and server key, then start the server normally. Version 1.5 retains the automatic timing upgrade introduced in version 1.4. Profiles still using the previous standard timing are updated to the current 260-second cycle on first start. The original configuration is backed up before the change. Custom timing and other settings are preserved. If you copy Workshop files into a separate server mod folder, update that copy too. Player saves and equipment are unaffected. Valid saved whale route progress is retained, even when an old cycle time needs to restart. See README.md for details. The routes, signs and maps remain unchanged; existing version 1.2 routes need no changes. Adopting the supplied coastal routes is optional for older profiles; see ROUTE_UPGRADE.txt. Chernarus needs no additional map dependency. Sakhal requires Frostline. Deer Isle requires Deer Isle and its required Community Framework dependency. AmbientBlueWhale itself does not add a global Community Framework dependency. Repacking and modifications Repacking Ambient Blue Whale into server packs is permitted. Modifications to add support for additional maps are also permitted. Please retain the original credits and include a link to the original Ambient Blue Whale Workshop page. Please do not redistribute Ambient Blue Whale as a separate standalone mod. Version 1.5 Raises the fluke further out of the water and updates water-entry sound timing for fluke displays and rolls using the moving fluke's water contacts. The existing sound recordings, routes, signs, maps and cycle timing are retained. Version 1.4 Automatically upgrades previous standard timing on existing server profiles, with a backup of the original configuration. Preserves custom timing, other settings and valid saved route progress. All whale movements from version 1.3 are retained, including the higher fluke display, three rolls and the 12-second descent followed immediately by an 8-second ascent. Version 1.3 Synchronizes the whale's body, fins and water effects and raises the fluke display. Adds three rolls during each standard four

modperf has not read this mod's scripts, so there is no report and it is left out of any stack it appears in. 8 live servers in the crawl publish it.
The worker downloads the mod from the Workshop and reads its Enforce Script — nothing is executed. Usually a few minutes. This page then shows the report.
