RZ Asteroid Event Something is coming down. Everyone on the map will see it. Day 112. The radio at the fire station hadn't made a sound in weeks. Then, a little after two, every siren in town woke up at once. We looked up, because everyone looks up. The sky had turned the colour of rust, and something was burning its way down through it, breaking apart and throwing pieces of itself over the hills. Nobody heard the impact. We felt it. The windows came in, the trees on the ridge lay down like grass, and a cloud climbed so high it bent at the top. By evening there was a hole in the valley with green light leaking out of the cracks. Pavel went down to look. He came back with a stone that hummed in his pocket, and a counter whose needle wouldn't stop climbing. Three days later the veins showed up on his arms. What it is RZ Asteroid Event is a server world event. Every few hours an asteroid falls somewhere on the map. Every player sees it come, and whatever it leaves behind is worth fighting over. How an event plays out 1. The warning Air-raid sirens across the whole map, a red DANGER alert with a countdown, and the sky slowly turning orange-red. 2. The fall A fireball crosses the sky and breaks up in the atmosphere. Burning pieces scatter, and a few of them land as shards you can find. The air near the impact point gets hotter by the second. 3. The impact A blast, a mushroom cloud, trees knocked flat and fires. Then the shockwave: a ring of dust tearing outwards for 400 m. It kills zombies, and it hurts anyone caught outside. Get inside a building or wear a full NBC suit. 4. The crater A smoking 44 m crater with the glowing asteroid in the middle, green toxic fog over the whole zone, and meteorite fragments in the dirt. Nearby trees, rocks and wrecks lift off the ground and float. Irradiated infected with glowing veins crawl out of the rock in waves. 5. The fallout After an hour the zone starts to shrink. Fifteen minutes later the radiation is gone, and the crater disappears once nobody is standing next to it. Nothing stays behind to clutter your server. Radiation that matters Radiation is a dose that builds up while you stay exposed and wears off slowly once you leave. 200 mSv: coughing and vomiting 300 mSv: green veins start to show under your skin, and everyone can see them 400 mSv: you are sick and slowly losing health 700 mSv: severe sickness, fast health and blood loss 1000 mSv: lethal The gear Geiger counter: runs on a 9V battery. It clicks faster as the radiation rises, and its needle swings with the reading. A small panel shows the dose rate and your absorbed dose. It keeps working in your pocket or clipped to a vest. NBC gear: a gas mask stops what you breathe in, and the suit stops the rest. A full suit also shrugs off the shockwave, but not the heat. Potassium iodide tablets: each one takes away part of your dose and halves new exposure for a few minutes. RZ-3 sample case: 30 lead-lined slots. Fragments inside stop irradiating you, and three of them glow under its glass domes. A pickaxe or sledgehammer: mine the asteroid for fragments until it crumbles. INFO PANEL Works on any map. Chernarus, Livonia and Sakhal come ready for fixed impact spots and no-impact zones around traders and spawns. Everything is in one config.json: timing, radii, damage, rad

modperf has not read this mod's scripts, so there is no report and it is left out of any stack it appears in. 11 live servers in the crawl publish it.

The worker downloads the mod from the Workshop and reads its Enforce Script — nothing is executed. Usually a few minutes. This page then shows the report.
