ZOMBIE BUBBLE Every house is taken. In vanilla DayZ, a town only fills with infected when a player gets close. So if you spot zombies through a scope, you know someone is nearby, and players use that to hunt each other. Zombie Bubble removes that tell. Vanilla town spawns are switched off. Instead, every building within 1000 m of any player gets its own infected. Any town you can see is inside your own bubble, so it's always populated, and seeing zombies no longer gives anyone away. Zombies Match the Building The kind of infected depends on where it spawns: Military bases: soldiers at barracks, guardhouses, hangars, ATC towers, tents and fortified nests Police stations: police and riot police Prison: prisoners and riot police Fire stations: firefighters Hospitals and clinics: doctors, nurses, paramedics and patients Churches: priests Factories, workshops, garages and fuel stations: workers and mechanics Farms and barns: farmers and milkmaids Cabins, lighthouses and boathouses: hikers, hunters and fishermen Offices, shops, schools, hotels and flats: city infected Ordinary houses: city or village infected, depending on which kind of town they're in How It Works Every building gets at least one. Bigger buildings with more doors get more, up to a cap per building type. No pop-in in front of you. Nothing spawns within 200 m of a player in the direction they're facing. Most infected appear in yards and streets, not stuck in walls. Kills count. A killed zombie's spot at its building stays empty for 30 minutes, so a cleared building stays cleared. Cheap on the server. Zombies only exist around players and are removed when nobody is within 1150 m. Houses nearest players fill first, up to a server-wide cap. Works on any map. Buildings are found by scanning the map itself, and towns come from the map's own place names. What Stays Vanilla Heli crashes, military convoys, police car and train wrecks, and contaminated zones keep their own vanilla infected. Installation Server-only mod. Load it with -servermod=@WombatZombieBubble. Players don't need to download anything. Turn off vanilla town zombies. The mod comes with an edited zombie_territories.xml (in its ServerFiles folder). Back up your mission's env\zombie_territories.xml and replace it with this one. It sets every town and military zone to spawn nothing, and leaves contaminated zones alone. If your copy is already edited, set dmin/dmax/smin/smax to 0 on those zones by hand instead. Don't run it alongside another mod that fills towns with infected. WombatZombieBubble.json is created automatically on first server launch, in your server's active mission folder under Wombat Mod Configs, for example: ...\mpmissions\dayzOffline.chernarusplus\Wombat Mod Configs\ Every number can be changed there, including which buildings get which infected. It can also be edited with the Wombat GUI Config Editor. Admin Chat Commands Admins are listed by Steam64 ID in the config. Commands are typed in normal chat. Because this is a server-only mod, other players nearby will see the command text. Replies appear as a pop-up. /zb: server FPS, how many infected, and how far the map scan has got /zb here: what's in your own bubble, by building type /zb near: the nearest building, its type and its infected /zb objects: everything within 15 m as the mod sees it, for setting up custom buildings /zb houses: map-wide counts per building type /zb clear, /zb on, /zb off, /zb reload, /zb benc

modperf has not read this mod's scripts, so there is no report and it is left out of any stack it appears in. 1 live server in the crawl publishes it.
The worker downloads the mod from the Workshop and reads its Enforce Script — nothing is executed. Usually a few minutes. This page then shows the report.
