A solar dew collector for DayZ: clean drinking water pulled out of thin air, made for DESERT maps. Water is the first thing you run out of in the desert. Wells are rare, ponds are dry or dirty, and every trip to a water source is a risk. The dew collector lets a survivor settle down far from rivers and lakes: set it up once, and it keeps making clean water, day and night, on its own. IDEAL FOR DESERT MAPS - Built for dry, hot maps: Nasdara (DayZ Badlands), Takistan-style maps, dry steppes and wastelands. - Its scavenged, post-apocalyptic look (rusty frame, worn labels, salvaged battery and pump) fits a desert survival setting. - It works on any map, but this is where it changes the game: a camp in the middle of the dunes becomes possible. HOW IT WORKS - A tilted solar panel, a battery, a condenser pump and a 30 L tank, on a welded steel frame. - By day: the panel charges the battery, and the condenser already makes a little water (0.5 L per in-game hour). - By night: the battery runs the condenser at full power, up to 10 L of clean water per night. The battery needs about 5 hours of full sun to charge; clouds slow it down. - Rain: the panel catches the rain and the gutter brings it into the tank. - Fully automatic, nothing to switch on. It keeps working while its owner is offline (as long as the server runs). It stops when the 30 L tank is full. - Open the valve to fill your bottles and canteens, or crouch and drink with your hands. - If someone pours dirty water into the tank, the water is dirty, like in vanilla. THE KIT - The collector comes in a wooden crate with its own illustrated label. - Take the crate in your hands and place it: the hologram shows the whole collector, so you see exactly where it goes. When placed, the crate unpacks into the collector. - To move it: close the valve, then "Pack up" with empty hands. The crate comes back into your hands, with the water of the tank and the charge of the battery. REQUIRED MODS - None. CatchWater_PFB works on its own. LANGUAGES - English, and French for players whose game is in French. FOR SERVER OWNERS - Works on DayZ 1.29 and 1.30 (tested on both) - The crate is loot. The file info/types.xml is a starting point: the crate spawns rarely, on the floor, in Industrial and Military areas. Change the numbers, or set nominal and min to 0 and sell the crate in a trader. - Copy the content of info/types.xml into the db/types.xml of your mission, or declare it in cfgeconomycore.xml. It also lists the placed collector: without this entry the server can delete it. - Default lifetime of a placed collector is 45 days. Change it as you like. - Put the key from the keys folder in your server keys folder. Class names - Kit (crate): CatchWater_Kit - Placed collector: CatchWater_PFB

modperf has not read this mod's scripts, so there is no report and it is left out of any stack it appears in. 6 live servers in the crawl publish it.
The worker downloads the mod from the Workshop and reads its Enforce Script — nothing is executed. Usually a few minutes. This page then shows the report.
