Nasdara Swap Gear Fix Fixes the annoying DayZ swap bug: when you take an item into your hands while already holding something, the item you were holding gets dropped on the ground instead of going back into your inventory. Drag a can of beans from the ground to your hands while holding your rifle, and vanilla DayZ leaves your rifle lying in the dirt. With this mod, your rifle goes straight back on your shoulder, where you took it from. What it does When you pick something up directly into your hands, the item you were holding goes to: The slot it came from - the greyed-out slot you took it out of. Any free spot on you - if it never had a slot (e.g. you picked it up off the ground). The ground - only if you have no room at all, same as vanilla. Works for items on the ground, in crates and containers, on corpses and in vehicles, by mouse drag-and-drop, gamepad or the right-click Swap option. What it leaves alone Swapping with items already in your own inventory - vanilla already handles that correctly. Dragging your held item onto something on the ground - you chose to put it down there, so it still goes on the ground. Heavy items like barrels and tyres keep their vanilla pickup. Info Built for DayZ 1.30 and the Nasdara map, but it's pure script with no map dependency, so it works on any map. Must be loaded on both server and client. No config, no new items, no changes to save data - safe to add or remove at any time.

modperf has not read this mod's scripts, so there is no report and it is left out of any stack it appears in. 8 live servers in the crawl publish it.

The worker downloads the mod from the Workshop and reads its Enforce Script — nothing is executed. Usually a few minutes. This page then shows the report.
