A Beautiful Motorbike Passenger

Bikes Seat 2 The vanilla motorbikes finally carry two. A second player can climb on behind the rider of a Jana 50 or a Bitrak 682 and ride along as a passenger. The problem it solves DayZ 1.30's motorbikes have room for two on the seat, and the game even gives them a second crew slot, but nobody can use it: both slots sit in exactly the same spot, so a second player would be stuck inside the rider. In vanilla only one player can ride a bike. What it does A real passenger seat. Walk up to the back of a bike that already has a rider and use Get on as passenger. The passenger climbs on from the side you're standing on and sits on the back of the seat, behind the rider. A proper pillion pose. Legs folded back along the sides of the bike so they stay clear of the rider, and hands resting on the rider's shoulders. The rider stays in charge. The passenger can't steer, use the throttle or the horn, and can't swap into the front seat. The bike behaves exactly as it does with one rider. Moves with the rider. When the Bitrak stops and its rider shifts forward to put a foot down, the passenger slides forward with them, so there's no gap. Getting off works like vanilla. Hold Get out to climb off. Above 10 km/h you jump off instead. Crashes throw both of you off. A crash that knocks the rider off knocks the passenger off too. Your gun comes back ready. Whatever you were holding, a rifle included, is put away while you ride and is back in your hands when you get off, ready to use. How to use it Someone gets on the bike as the rider, as normal. Stand next to the back of the bike and look at it. The action Get on as passenger appears. To get off, hold Get out. The bike has to be standing up, and there has to be a rider on it first. With the front seat free, you get on as the rider instead. Installation Server and clients. Every player needs the mod. Subscribe, and add the mod to your server's -mod= launch parameter. Copy keys\BeautifulPotato.bikey into your server's keys folder. Restart the server. Compatibility Any map. Works on every map that has the vanilla motorbikes. Vanilla bikes only: the Jana 50 and the Bitrak 682, including retextures that use their models. Custom bikes with their own models and animations aren't supported. No replaced vanilla files. A small config patch marks the bike's second crew slot as a passenger seat; everything else is script and the mod's own passenger animations, which build on the vanilla ones.
