Claiming a server

Claiming links a running Sentinel Enforcer server to your dayz.fyi account so you can manage it.

How to claim

  1. Make sure the mod is installed and the server has been started at least once (see Getting started) — first boot is what generates your claim code.
  2. Find the claim code (clm_…) in <profile>/SentinelEnforcer/claim.txt or the server log.
  3. Go to dayz.fyi/claim, log in with Discord, paste the code, and submit.
i
The claim code is single-use and expires 24 hours after it's issued. Lapsed or already used? Restart the server — the mod prints a fresh code on the next boot.
!
Don't paste the sntl_v1.… string from the mod's config — that's the mod's own credential, not a claim code. You want the clm_… code from claim.txt or the log. (Internal tenants set up the legacy way use their admin-issued stk_… install token here instead.)

What can go wrong

  • "That code or token doesn't exist, has expired, or was retired." — the code lapsed (they last 24h) or was already used. Restart the server to get a fresh one, or double-check you copied the whole clm_… string.
  • "That code or token was already claimed." — someone already owns this server. If that's you on another account, log in as that account; if it shouldn't be, rotate the token from the owning account.
i
The person who claims a server becomes its owner. Delegated staff access (letting other Discord roles in) is coming in a later phase.
