Communities & staff
A community groups one or more of your servers under a shared identity — its own name, public page, Discord, and staff. One account can run several communities (e.g. a 4-server network and a separate 1-server project).
Your default community
When you claim your first server you automatically get a community named “Your name's Community”. Rename it any time — open it from your dashboard and edit the Profile.
Profile & public page
Each community has a public page at /c/your-slug listing its public servers.
Give it a tagline, description, website, and Discord invite — the Discord
and website also appear on each of that community's public server pages, so players can find you.
Running multiple communities
Use New community on your dashboard to create another, then move servers between communities (an admin can reassign a server's community). Your dashboard groups your servers by community.
Discord & staff
- Discord guilds — link a community's public and/or staff guild (the upcoming platform bot attaches at this level).
- Staff — the community's staff list is a roll-up of everyone with a role across its servers, at their highest tier. Editing a community (profile, Discord, groups) requires the Head of Staff tier or ownership.
Permission groups
Roles are capability bundles. The five defaults (Admin → Owner) cover the usual
tiers, but you can create your own — e.g. an IP-Viewer group that grants only
IP/alt visibility — and assign a staff member several groups at once; their
permissions combine. Manage these on the community page.
