12 drop the chain
Override without super(): vanilla's code here, and every earlier-loaded mod's, never runs. With two of these on one server, only the one that loads later has its version run.
3 call super() on some paths
The chain continues unless the mod returns early; whether that matters depends on the condition.
1 keeps the chain
Always calls super(): these stack with each other and with vanilla.
Each mod's latest analyzed version, counted once by its weakest override of this method. Dropping the chain is often the point of a mod; this shows where mods collide, not who is wrong. Compose your stack to check the mods you run.
